St. James' Needs More Worship Participants
With 3 Sunday Worship Services and 1 Wednesday service, St. James’ uses numerous volunteers to enrich worship by acting as ushers, readers, acolytes, and chalice bearers. We need more of everyone! To help anyone who would like to be trained for Chalice Bearer (Lay Eucharistic Minister), anyone interested please let Mother Pilar or the Parish Office know. One of the reasons St. James’ is so different is that we have so many different people participating in each service. Hearing the voices of your friends and fellow parishioners and seeing them serve side by side with clergy is a very special privilege the Episcopal Church encourages. Many say that being an ACTVIVE part of worship brings them closer to God and helps them really understand the significance of worship. With a large enough of pool of people, it allows for flexible schedules for all. Teens are welcome as well!
If you are interested in any of the below, please contact Laura Posecznick or the Parish Office.

Volunteer Services
Volunteers (or Servant Leaders) are at the heart of the growth and operation of our church. Because of volunteers assisting in so many facets, our church can remain viable and accessible to today’s diverse community. In addition, by utilizing volunteers and supporting our mission of igniting passion for Jesus Christ to change lives, we are a closer parish family.
